Thoughts on 2017
(I originally sent this out in early January as my email newsletter, but thought I'd document it here too for anyone that happens to stumble upon my blog. xo)
In many ways, 2017 has been the greatest year of my life.
It wasn't the most traveled. Or the most eventful on a day to day basis. But this was the year I truly spread my wings, jumped off the ledge, and learned how to fly.
I put faith into a dream. And I put everything I had into creating it.
I traveled to one of my favorite places on the planet. Navigated the winding streets of the Medina, and the logistical nightmares of becoming an importer.
I put my trust in people, which can be a very hard thing for me to do. I let go - of fear, self doubt, and so many insecurities.
And out of all of this, my favorite part is that I was able to give back.
Last week I made the donation to Project Soar Morocco for $1,875.30.
Really, I couldn't have did it without any of you. Every pillow, blanket, and rug order has got us here. And I can't thank you enough.
I'm so grateful. THANK YOU!!! Cheers to a happy and fulfilling 2018.
